SAL's Top Player Named Monday, August 29th , 2022 The Player of the Week has been announced by the South Atlantic League. The honor went to Bill Godfrey, center fielder of the Delmarva Shorebirds. He burned up the league with a .481 average to win the award. Godfrey went 13-for-27 for the week, totaled no home runs with 6 RBIs and scored 3 times. So far this year Godfrey is hitting .300 with 2 home runs. |
