Week's #1 Player Honored by SAL Monday, September 5th , 2022 Carter Daniels burst onto the South Atlantic League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Asheville garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (17-for-34) with no home runs and 2 RBIs last week. For the year Daniels is batting .333 with 48 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 22 times and driven in 26. |
