Shipley Collects Cycle Wednesday, May 3rd , 2023 Rome Braves second baseman Will Shipley had one of the best days of his career today when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the Braves 16-10 win over the Hagerstown Suns at State Mutual Stadium. "Everything was just clicking today," he said. Shipley shelled the Suns for 4 hits in 6 at-bats, collected 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. Will Shipley flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run triple in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Juan Félix in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
