Navarro Wins NWL Player of the Week Honors Monday, July 31st , 2023 Pitchers who faced the Vancouver Canadians last week were happy to see Héctor Navarro in the rear-view mirror. The 25-year-old right fielder was dubbed the Northwest League Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .500 clip. For the week he also chalked up 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Navarro has collected 26 hits for the Canadians this year, 8 of them home runs. He has also netted 27 RBIs and scored 15 runs while batting .286. |
