Brock Wilken Named APP's Best Player
Saturday, October 14th , 2023
The manager of the Pulaski Yankees said he thinks Brock Wilken is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2023 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Appalachian League Hitter of the Year Award.

His winning campaign featured a .346 batting average and a .420 on-base percentage this year. In 65 games he piled up 84 hits, 17 doubles, 1 triple, 18 home runs, 49 RBIs and 44 runs scored.

He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Garret Forrester of the Johnson City Cardinals finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while David Horn of the Burlington Royals finished third with 4 first place votes.
