Thomas's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Wednesday, August 16th , 2023 Nobody has been able to shut down Bluefield Blue Jays center fielder Isaiah Thomas in recent days. The Princeton Rays fared no better than the rest. Today at Bowen Field, Thomas picked up 1 hit in 4 at-bats en route to a 5-3 Blue Jays victory. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Isaiah Thomas flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. So far this season Thomas has hit .395 with 11 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 32 times. |
