Diaz Sticks It to APP Pitchers Monday, August 28th , 2023 Swinging a hot stick last week, Ian Diaz picked up the Appalachian League Player of the Week Award today. The 22-year-old right fielder for Kingsport lashed 6 hits in 9 at-bats as he put together a .667 average with 3 home runs. Diaz also drove in 4 runs, scored 5 times and compiled a .667 OBP. Diaz is currently batting .500 with 9 home runs and 17 RBIs. |
