Young, Eissler Suspended for Fracas Friday, July 30th, 2021 Cy Young of the Scottsdale (SF) Giants and Jake Eissler of the Mesa (OAK) Athletics will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Giants-Athletics game at Scottsdale Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Young and Eissler will begin serving them soon. This year Young has 1 home run and a .333 batting average. |
