Cuvet Socks It to Indians, Cracks 5 Hits Thursday, September 14th , 2023 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Surprise (KC)'s Daniel Cuvet made it happen today against the Indians. Everything came together at the plate for the 18-year-old first baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Royals to a 13-1 win at Surprise Stadium. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Cuvet said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Daniel Cuvet hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
