GCL's #1 Pitcher is Henderson Saturday, November 4th , 2023 This year the top vote-getter for the 2023 Pitcher of the Year Award was Logan Henderson of the Lake Buena Vista Braves, who finished with an outstanding 5-3 mark and an impressive 1.20 ERA. In his award-winning season, the 21-year-old Braves star hurled 82.1 innings, chalking up 87 strikeouts and 28 walks, and limited hitters to a .151 batting average. He received 16 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Tyler Mattison of the Lake Buena Vista Braves finished second in voting, while Jorge Reyna of the Lake Nona Rockies finished third.
