3-Homer Hat Trick for Hauver Thursday, September 7th , 2023 Dunedin Blue Jays center fielder Trevor Hauver put on a dazzling display of power today at Osceola County Stadium against the Kissimmee Astros. In the 9-4 Blue Jays victory Hauver penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts. "He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Kissimmee manager John McDonald said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well." Along with his three home runs, the 24-year-old had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Hauver said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today." Trevor Hauver hit a solo-shot off Hunter Dobbins in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Hunter Dobbins in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Hunter Dobbins in the 5th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
