Red Sox Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, September 15th , 2023 While they were already on the outside looking on to the 2023 playoff chase, today the Fort Myers (BOS) Red Sox have mathematically been eliminated from contention. Fort Myers (BOS) last appeared in the postseason in 2016. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 10 times in their 12 - year history. |
