Diamondbacks Advance to Day 2 Tuesday, September 24th , 2024 Arizona (LV) was alive with celebration tonight after the Arizona (LV) Diamondbacks triumphed in the Opening Round over the Pittsburgh (LV) Pirates, by a score of 5-2 at Wynn Field. "Anything can happen in a one-game playoff, so you've got to feel fortunate you're going on," said second baseman J.J. Wetherholt, who led his team to victory by going 2-for-3 in the game.
