Demesa Bashes 7 Base Hits
It was a parade of hits for Arabello Demesa of the West Virginia Black Bears at MCU Park today.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Demesa finished the day with a total of 7 hits in 9 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Black Bears to a 8-5 victory.

"Demesa was really good and we were really bad," groaned Cyclones manager Rainer Florez. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

Arabello Demesa singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, singled in the 9th, doubled in the 11th, grounded out in the 13th, singled in the 16th and hit a two-run single in the 17th.
