Flying Squirrels Win Championship Series
The sweet swing of Mike Roberts has led his team through the Championship Series.

The Richmond Flying Squirrels star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Daytona Tortugas to advance to the World Series.

The Flying Squirrels won the final game at Jackie Robinson Ballpark by a score of 5-3 and the series 4-3.

"I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Roberts. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs."

For the series, Roberts hit .478 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Championship Series finishes.
