Trojans Heading to Quarter-Finals
|
University of Southern California Trojans players, coaches and personnel swarmed the field at Dedeaux Field tonight after the club posted a 13-1 triumph over the Florida State University Seminoles in the Wildcard.
"We're not where we want to be yet, but any time you can survive a one-game elimination, you're feeling good," said Ned Hyche, who had 3 hits in 4 at bats to pace his team's offence.
The club will look to continue playing strong in the Quarter-Finals.
"There's no reason this team can't go all the way, and everyone in this clubhouse believes that," said Hyche.
The University of Southern California Trojans will play against the Louisiana State University Tigers in the next round. Louisiana State University had a bye in the Wildcard. The Quarter-Finals schedule will be announced after the Wildcard finishes.
