Singleton on Fire, 5-for-8 Against University of Oklahoma
It was a good day for the Seminoles at Ballpark of Memphis as they clipped the University of Oklahoma Sooners, 77-58. It was tremendous day for Nate Singleton, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-8.

"I don't know what to call that," the Florida State University catcher told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well."

Nate Singleton grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Ron Bubar in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 8th, hit a sac fly in the 8th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 8th.

This season Singleton has hit at a .549 clip with 28 RBIs, 7 home runs and 36 runs scored.
