Multi-HR Game for Simmons in 6-2 Win
The 6-2 Florida State University win over University of Oklahoma was due largely to Chris Simmons. The Seminoles center fielder went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. It could have been a different outcome for Florida State University, had it not been for Jorge Brito, the 19-year old third baseman . Brito contributed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put Florida State University up, 2-0.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Simmons told the Florida State University Today.
