Hot Rods Show No Mercy in 9-0 Thrashing of RiverDogs
|
Bowling Green Hot Rods starter Dave Lindsay really did a number on the Charleston RiverDogs, shutting them out, 9-0, on 4 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 6 strikeouts.
"We didn't have good at-bats," said Charleston manager Vincent Velasquez. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Lindsay."
This year, Lindsay has compiled a 6-3 record with a 3.52 ERA in 6 starts.
