Munoz Goes 5-for-6 Sunday, January 15th , 2051 Lakeland defeated Charlotte today at Charlotte Sports Park. The star of the game for the Flying Tigers was left fielder Sandy Munoz. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-6 day, paving the way for Lakeland's 13-6 triumph over the Stone Crabs. Sandy Munoz doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Vince Martinez in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Vince Martinez in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Han Keijzer in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and singled in the 9th. During the current season Munoz is batting at a .385 clip with 12 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has played in 36 games and scored 35 times. |
