Sillmon Tags Flying Tigers for 5 Hits

All game long, Inland Empire's Ian Sillmon was rattling the walls at San Manuel Stadium and banging out base hits against the Lakeland Flying Tigers. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the 66ers had a win, 32-0.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 17-year-old catcher said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Ian Sillmon hit a two-run home run off Ryan Tillett in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
Sillmon is currently batting .362 with 2 home runs, 9 runs scored and 10 RBIs. His OBP is .375.
