Monday, February 17th , 2053
A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Dillon Chaltry, he seems to have taken the Wilmington Blue Rocks to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the American League for leading the team to a very rewarding season.
"Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way."
Chaltry led Wilmington to a second place finish in the American League Central Division. The Blue Rocks ended up with a 29-13 record.
