Pickett Stops Quad Cities Friday, May 12th , 2051 The Lake County Captains whipped the Quad Cities River Bandits 7-0 at Classic Park today behind a masterful outing from starter Alberto Pickett. Pickett shut out the River Bandits on 5 hits and 1 walk. He registered 13 strikeouts over 9 innings. "Velocity felt good, everything felt good today," a smiling Pickett said later. "Command felt good, conditions felt good, glove felt good, hat felt good. Seriously everything." To date this year, Pickett shows a 3-3 record, 8 starts, 52 innings, 52 strikeouts and a 3.81 ERA. |
