Julien Slams 3 Homers for Braves Sunday, June 2nd , 2052 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Nick Julien discovered that today at Municipal Stadium, as he smashed three home runs during the 10-2 Atlanta (MID) Braves win over the Hagerstown Suns. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Atlanta (MID) first baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Julien finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Nick Julien hit a three-run home run off Ryan Bethune in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ramiro Ramirez in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ramiro Ramirez in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. This year Julien has hit 8 home runs and posted a .285 batting average. |
