Plummer Raps Burlington for 5 Hits Wednesday, June 12th , 2052 A big day at bat for Taylor Plummer of the Delmarva Shorebirds still ended with a loss. The Delmarva center fielder did all he could do, going 5-for-5, but it was not enough to overcome the Burlington Bees. They triumphed over Delmarva 3-1 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Taylor Plummer singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Batting .298 to date, Plummer has 3 home runs and 13 RBIs. |
