Outstanding Pitcher Award Presented by NL Saturday, November 16th , 2052 The National League made the official announcement today. The 2052 National League Outstanding Pitcher Award has gone to Hugo Valentin of Greensboro. He had a superlative season, chalking up a 14-6 won-lost mark with an impressive 2.48 ERA. Valentin logged 24 starts, threw 192 innings, yielded 151 hits, struck out 222 and held the opposition to a .218 batting average. He received 24 first place votes out of a possible 30. Bryant Orr of the Augusta GreenJackets finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Jason Englert of the Kane County Cougars finished third with 1 first place vote.
