Frankel Heads AL Best Player List Sunday, November 17th , 2052 Peter Frankel of the Charleston RiverDogs had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2052.
The 22-year-old left fielder put up a .250 average and a .311 on-base percentage, piling up 125 hits, 20 doubles, 10 triples, 33 home runs, 76 RBIs and 70 runs scored.
He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 30. Jeff Long of the Lansing Lugnuts finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Danny Eberhart of the Lansing Lugnuts finished third with 7 first place votes.
