Quintanilla 5-for-5 Against Loons Thursday, September 11th , 2053 Rodrigo Quintanilla exploded for a barrage of base hits at Fifth Third Field. The Dayton left fielder had a field day in his team's 10-4 triumph over the Great Lakes Loons, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Quintanilla must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Rodrigo Quintanilla singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Quintanilla is currently hitting at a .339 pace with 17 home runs, 58 RBIs and has scored 36 times. |
