White Sox Spank ValleyCats, 10-0
Thursday, August 31st , 2051
Ruben Castro was in a mood to talk following the Chicago (NYP) White Sox contest against the Tri-City ValleyCats, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the ValleyCats, 10-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Castro said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Tri-City on a 4-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 5 strikeouts.
In 23 starts this season Castro has compiled a 7-10 record and a 3.13 ERA.
