Player of the Week Trophy to Figueroa Monday, May 27th , 2052 Tri-City Dust Devils right fielder Juan Figueroa had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the National League named him Player of the Week. Figueroa banged out 11 hits in 23 at-bats on the way to a .478 batting average. He also racked up 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 10 runs scored. Figueroa is presently hitting at a .368 pace with 1 home run and 9 RBIs. He has played in 17 games and scored 14 times. |
