Sena Touches All Bases, Hits for Cycle Sunday, June 9th , 2052 Alfredo Sena hit for the cycle and paced the Milwaukee (NYP) Brewers to a 5-4 victory over the Eugene Emeralds at PK Park today. The Brewers left fielder led the way for his club with 4 hits in 5 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 3 RBI and 2 runs. "Now that I know what Alfredo is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Milwaukee (NYP) manager Andy Webster joked with reporters after the game. Alfredo Sena was hit by a pitch in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Robbie Schoen in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, hit an RBI single in the 10th and hit an RBI triple in the 12th. So far this season Sena has put up a .273 batting average with 15 hits, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. |
