AquaSox Matt Hepburn Swings Hot Bat, NYP Winner Monday, June 10th , 2052 A hot-hitting week got Matt Hepburn the McNamara Division Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Everett center fielder slammed them for a .667 average, 10 hits in 15 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 4 runs. In the postgame press conference, Hepburn shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." So far this year Hepburn is hitting .307 with 3 home runs. |
