Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Everett Wednesday, August 27th , 2053 In the middle of a disastrous season, it would be understandable if Everett AquaSox fans had already started to turn their attention to next year. Doubly so as of today, as the AquaSox have now been officially eliminated from playoff contention. The AquaSox have made the playoffs 17 times in their 38 years as a New York-Penn League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 19th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2034. Everett has won the World Series 6 times in their history. |
