Tar Heels Holt Booms 3 HRs Tuesday, November 4th , 2053 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Nick Holt discovered that today at Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium, as he smashed three home runs during the 12-3 University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tar Heels win over the University of Arizona Wildcats. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill second baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Holt, who is tied for 3rd in the DIV I in bases on balls with 47, finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 4 RBIs. Nick Holt hit a two-run home run off Glen Krueger in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Glen Krueger in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Justin Reeves in the 8th.
