January's Top Hurler is Shaw Sunday, February 1st , 2054 Over the past month Dwaine Shaw has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Division 2. He proved all that and now he's been named January's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the University of California Golden Bears posted 3-0 mark and a 2.25 ERA. In 3 starts he tossed 20 innings, permitted 16 hits and fanned 14 batters. This year, Shaw has fashioned a 11-5 mark, 3.28 ERA and pitched 153.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .211 against him and he has logged 107 strikeouts. |
