Jude Takes Home EL Top Batter Award Monday, July 1st , 2052 When A.J. Jude stepped up to the plate in June he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Eastern League Batter of the Month award. The young Southern Maryland right fielder posted a .360 batting average with 14 home runs, 29 RBIs and scored 21 runs. Jude also worked pitchers for 6 walks to post a .409 on-base percentage. This year Jude has hit at a .350 clip with 56 hits, 22 home runs, 43 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
