Knight Shackles Chester Saturday, September 27th , 2053 Winnipeg Goldeyes hurler Dave Knight logged a 3-hit, complete game shutout over the Pirates, stopping them, 6-0, at Winnipeg International Baseball & Gold Complex. "I felt great out there," Knight said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this." He rung up 4 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk in the performance. In 23 starts this season, Knight has notched a 5-4 record and a 4.08 ERA. |
