ORI Trophy Goes to Wood of Oregon State University Monday, December 4th , 2051 Jacob Wood has the tools to stick in this league for many years. The 16-year-old first baseman of the Oregon State University Beavers had a hot bat in the Division 1 over the past seven days and won the Player of the Week honors. Wood batted .500 with 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. This year Wood is hitting .275, produced 49 RBIs and 17 home runs, scored 47 times and gotten on base at a .377 rate. |
