Brewers Take Down Reds, 3-2
|
The Milwaukee Brewers got a stellar effort from pitcher Kelly Crumpton, helping Milwaukee score a win over the visiting Cincinnati Reds, 3-2. Milwaukee pitcher Toshiichi Shimabukuro got the win. He's now 7-2. Justin Dunn was tagged with the loss. The Brewers raised their record to 64-79.
Alfonso Rivas, who finished 5th in the AL in on-base percentage with .394 in 2024, chipped in for Milwaukee with a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
