Round 1 Goes the Distance, Los Angeles (DSL) Prevails Friday, August 29th , 2031 With a narrow 2-1 series win, the Los Angeles (DSL) Angels have eliminated the Seattle (DSL) Mariners and are Round 1 winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the Round 2, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said shortstop Rory DeStefano, who was named series MVP. Los Angeles (DSL) won the final game by a score of 6-4, wrapping it up at Academia de Abel Garcia. DeStefano's big series saw him hit .417 with a .500 on-base percentage.
