Twins Come Back Late to Top Timberjacks, 4-2
Minnesota turned a good effort from starter Artie Beach into a win over the Portland Timberjacks at Nike Field. The final score was 4-2. Brad Calhoun notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 4-3. The Twins have now won 5 straight.

Minnesota used a clutch hit from Loren García to get the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Twins ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.
