Cleveland Gets 5-1 Win
|
The Cleveland Indians got a strong performance from pitcher Curt Davis, who stymied the Baltimore offense en route to a win, 5-1, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Indians sit in second place in the American League Northern Division with a record of 85-66.
The Indians got a big at-bat from first baseman Jared Murphy, who in the top of the second hit a 2-run home run. It was his 22nd home run of the season and put the Indians on top, 3-0.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Murphy told the Cleveland Bulletin.
