Ortíz Hits 2 home runs in White Sox Win

The first-place Chicago White Sox picked up another win.
A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old right fielder David Ortíz helped the Chicago White Sox beat the Seattle Mariners, 6-3. Clint Watson got the win, improving to 2-0. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Pat Yardley, credited with the save, is now 13 for 15 in save opportunities.
Ortíz contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Chicago in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Ortíz took a changeup from Chet Woof and stroked the home run to center. His 40th home run of the season allowed the White Sox to leap in front, 3-2.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Chicago manager .
The first-place White Sox have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.
