McDonald Parks 3 HR in the Seats Thursday, September 20th , 2068 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Colorado Rockies today. Milwaukee center fielder Don McDonald tripled up on the home runs to propel the Brewers to the 11-7 win at Coors Field. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Colorado manager said. "McDonald hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, McDonald collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Don McDonald hit a solo-shot off Edgardo Beltrán in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Edgardo Beltrán in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Enrique Díaz in the 8th.
