Texas's Timenez Sidelined for Season Thursday, August 16th , 2068 Texas starting pitcher Joaquín Timenez could miss the remainder of the season because of ulnar nerve entrapment. He exited yesterday's Boston game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Timenez would be out 4 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." This year Timenez has fanned 125 in 127.1 innings and collected a 12-4 record with a 3.89 ERA. |
