Idaho Falls Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game
The Idaho Falls Outlaws are off to the Round 2 after an exciting Round 1 triumph.

Idaho Falls downed the West Valley City Suns, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 3-2 win tonight at Ballpark of Idaho Falls wrapping up the series 4-3.

"It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Ray Brown, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series.

Brown put up a .414 with a .452 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 0 home runs, drove in 5 runs and scored 0 runs himself.

The Idaho Falls Outlaws will play against the Rochester Huskies in the next round. Rochester won their series against the Wausau Timbers 4 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
