Guerra Blasts Storm, Lions Take Game 6, 4-1
The California Lions and the Kansas Storm will take the League Quarter-Finals to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Lions beat the Storm 4-1 at New Storm Field to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. California left fielder Rafael Guerra went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Guerra delivered big-time for California, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Henry Matthews. The game-changing hit put the Lions on top, 4-1.

"We're one game closer to our goal," California manager said later. "It isn't any more complicated than that."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at New Storm Field in Wichita.
