Lions Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, October 9th, 2081 California Lions manager said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. The Lions have missed the playoffs 55 times in their 81 years as a NPBL franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2078. In the last 10 seasons, the Lions have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
