Freedom Prevail, as League Championships Goes to the Wire
Tuesday, October 31st, 2084
The League Championships went the distance before it all was said and done.

The Pennsylvania Freedom and the Michigan Militia went at it tooth-and-nail and when it was over at New Michigan Field, the winner was the Freedom.

They put away Michigan 6-3 to cinch the series and won the right to move onto the National Cup Series.

For his fine play, even in a losing effort, Michigan left fielder Adam Andrews was given the series Most Valuable Player Award. He hit .333, scored 8 runs and batted in 6 to win the honor.

"It's nice that someone noticed my numbers, but I'd trade it in a heartbeat for a win," he said.

The National Cup Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championships finishes.
