The Alabama Iron and their fans were rocked today by the news that star closer Jim Hamilton would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Hamilton was hurt in a recent game against the Georgia Generals while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. His doctors think that Hamilton will miss about 10 months.
